VPNRB / SETUP

VPN Subscription &
Quick Client Setup

Account → Plan → Subscription → Client → Connection check. Follow these steps to get connected, then troubleshoot any platform-specific access issues.

Client names, operating system versions, and layouts may vary. Options such as “Subscription,” “Configuration,” and “Import from link” usually serve similar purposes. Follow the prompts in your current client; the buttons may not be in exactly the same places as shown here.

ACCOUNT / Account access

Create an account and save your login details

Open the VPNRB dashboard using the link below and select the account creation page. Choose a username and password. No email address is required. Use a username that's easy to recognize but doesn't reveal your identity. Choose a unique password and save it in a trusted password manager. Before submitting, check your entries carefully, especially for extra spaces or capitalization added by your input method.

After submitting, follow the page instructions to open the dashboard. If you land on the login screen, sign in with the username and password you just saved. Once you can view Account Overview, plans, and client downloads, account setup is complete. Creating an account and activating a plan are separate steps: logging in doesn't mean you have data available. Check your plan status next.

If the username is taken, choose another one and try again. If you already have an account, sign in instead of creating a duplicate. If login fails, check your entries and make sure your browser hasn't filled in an old password. Never share your username, password, or subscription link in a public forum. For account questions, see Account and subscription FAQs.

PLAN / Data options

Choose a plan and check your order status

Open the plans section in the dashboard and compare monthly subscriptions with data packages. Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly from the activation date. If you connect regularly and prefer a monthly allowance, start with the option that fits your needs rather than choosing a larger tier just because it's available.

Data packages are consumed as you use them and never expire. Options are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Unlike monthly subscriptions, these packages don't reset each month. Compare your usage habits and total data allowance before choosing. All plans support unlimited devices, but data is shared across your usage. Video streaming, file transfers, and other activity on any device count toward your account's data usage.

Before confirming, check the plan name, price, and data type in your order. Choose Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT from the options shown in the dashboard. After paying, return to the dashboard to check the order result and plan status; don't assume the plan is active just because the payment page closed or redirected. If your plan hasn't appeared, check your order history and avoid submitting the same order again. If you still need help, contact support through a dashboard ticket and include your order details.

VPNRB offers a 7-day money-back guarantee. See the Terms of Service for instructions on how to request a refund. If you upgrade a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days; check the dashboard for the result. Once your plan is active, get your subscription. This helps avoid mistaking an empty list caused by an inactive plan for a client issue.

SUBSCRIPTION / Configuration source

Get your subscription from Account Overview

Return to Account Overview in the dashboard and check your plan status and data allowance, then find the subscription option. The subscription link lets your client retrieve server configurations; it isn't a regular webpage or an installer. Pasting it into a browser may trigger a download or show text or another response, but that doesn't import it into your client. Use the link in the client's subscription or configuration settings instead.

If the dashboard offers an import option, install and open the client for your device first, then return to the dashboard to start the import. Your browser may ask permission to open the app; check the app name before continuing. If the client doesn't open, copy the subscription link and choose “Import from link” or a similar option in the client. Either way, the client uses the link to load its configuration and server list.

Don't edit or remove any part of the link after copying it, and don't mistake a shortened display for the complete address. If import fails, copy the link from the dashboard again and check that there are no extra spaces or line breaks. The address shown below is an example only and cannot be used to connect. Get your actual subscription link from your own dashboard.

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

Treat your subscription link like an account credential. Don't upload it to public link-conversion sites or include it in public screenshots. When contacting support, describe the error and where it occurred; redact the full subscription link from any screenshots. Once the import is complete and you can see server locations or names, you can choose a server. If the list is empty, check your plan status in the dashboard before trying to update the subscription.

CLIENT / Import by platform

Import the client for your operating system

Get the client from the dashboard; this page doesn't provide direct installer links. You can access the Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux clients after logging in. Your plan must be active to connect using the subscription. Access to the iOS client depends on your plan status. We recommend using the VPNRB client and import method provided in the dashboard. If you use another client, first check that it supports the configuration format. Don't send your link to an unknown conversion service.

Windows: Desktop client and configuration

In the dashboard's download section, select Windows and get the VPNRB desktop client for your system. Install and open it. If you already have a version installed, make sure you're opening the same client; otherwise, you may import the configuration into one app and look for it in another. Go to “Subscription,” “Configuration,” or a similar screen, add the link you copied, save it, and wait for the configuration to load.

When the import succeeds, you should see a configuration name and server list. Select the configuration and enable the system proxy as prompted by the client. If you choose a mode that uses a virtual network adapter, follow the system prompts to grant permission. Each mode routes traffic differently, so the default settings are a good place to start. Close other proxy clients that are managing your network before connecting to avoid conflicts.

macOS: Desktop client and network permissions

Select the macOS client in the dashboard and follow the installation instructions, then open it from Applications. If the download section offers versions for different chip types, choose the one that matches your Mac. When you first launch the client, review the system prompts, verify the app's source, and grant the network extension or VPN configuration permissions it needs. Don't disable your Mac's overall security settings just to dismiss a prompt.

Open the client's configuration or subscription settings, add your subscription link, and select the configuration once it loads. Alternatively, when the client is ready, return to the dashboard and try the import option. If the app opens and the configuration appears but you can't connect, check whether macOS is still waiting for you to grant permission rather than repeatedly deleting the subscription. Once you've granted permission, choose a server and connect.

Android: Mobile client and VPN permission

Sign in and open the dashboard's download section. Select the Android client and install it using the system prompts. If Android asks you to allow installs from this source, grant permission only for a source you trust. Open the client, find subscription or configuration management, paste the complete link, and update it. If importing from the dashboard doesn't return you to the client, switch to the app and check whether the configuration was added before trying again, to avoid creating duplicates.

Choose a configuration and server, then connect. Android will usually ask you to authorize the VPN connection. Check the app name, allow the connection, and confirm that the client shows a connected status. If it works while the screen is on but disconnects in the background, check the system's background activity and battery settings for the client. Menu names vary by device; see the Android setup and verification guide for details. This page covers importing the client and making your first connection.

iOS: Active plan and client import

First, confirm in the dashboard that your plan is active. Then open the iOS client option and follow the instructions to get the VPNRB client from the App Store. If the option is unavailable, check that you're signed in to the right account and that its plan is active. Don't look for similarly named installers on other websites. After installing the client, open it, then return to the dashboard and use the corresponding import option.

If the app supports importing from a link, copy the address and add it from the subscription or configuration screen. When iOS asks to add a VPN configuration, verify the app and follow the prompts to grant permission. Once the subscription and server list appear, select the configuration and connect. The VPN indicator in the status bar only shows that the VPN configuration is enabled; it doesn't confirm that your target app is using the expected exit location. Complete the next verification step as well.

Linux users can also get the client from the dashboard, follow the relevant installation instructions to load the subscription, and verify the exit location. If you're already using another configuration, make sure the VPNRB subscription is selected and active; adding it alone doesn't switch over from your current configuration. For import errors, configuration format questions, or system permission issues, continue troubleshooting in the FAQs.

VERIFY / Connection check

Connect to a server and verify your exit location

In the client, select the configuration you just imported, open the server list, and choose a location that meets the requirements of the service you want to use. Then connect. Keep things simple during your first check: avoid changing routing modes, DNS settings, and servers all at once, or it will be hard to identify the cause of any issue. Once the client shows a connected status, check that regular websites still load, then verify your exit location.

Open the IP lookup page and check whether the exit location shown for your current request matches what you expect. With rule-based routing, different sites may use different routes, so the result only reflects the exit location used for that request, not every app. If it doesn't match your selected location, first check that the configuration is selected, the connection is active, and your routing mode includes browser traffic.

Next, open the international website, AI tool, or streaming app you want to use and check how it loads and whether any account notices appear. A website loading successfully doesn't mean every feature has been verified. The service may also check your account region, subscription eligibility, or payment region. If you see a region notice, check your exit location and account requirements before switching servers. Not every platform error means the connection has failed.

If you can't connect, check in order that your plan is active, you have data available, the subscription can be updated, and system permissions are granted. Then try another server. If regular websites won't load either, disconnect the client and confirm that your local network is working again before troubleshooting further. This helps distinguish local network issues from client configuration problems and avoids reinstalling the app without addressing the cause.

Once everything works, keep the current configuration and update the subscription in your client when the server list changes. For an explanation of IEPL dedicated lines, relay routes, and direct connections, see Global servers and how to choose a route. For streaming region checks and error fixes, see The complete guide to streaming access. If you still can't identify the problem, open a support ticket in the dashboard and include your operating system, client, selected location, error message, and steps you've tried. Redact account credentials and subscription links from screenshots.
